About Shine

Shine participants in Cancer Research UK's night time charity walk

Shine is Cancer Research UK’s night-time walking marathon, open to men, women and children aged 13 and over.  Since 2010 38,000 people have taken part in Shine to raise £9 million towards beating all types of cancer.

What is Shine?

Unite with your family and friends, wear bright clothing, lights and glow sticks and walk a full or half marathon. The money you raise will go towards translational research, which will help to bring new treatments to patients faster.
