We need motivational volunteers to join us at Shine Night Walk in London on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 September. By volunteering, not only will you help to inspire the thousands of people walking Shine, but you’ll be helping Cancer Research UK raise money to fund its life-saving research.
For the first time, Shine Night Walk will start and finish at two exciting new venues – Southwark Park and Old Billingsgate. Find out more about our new venues and how to plan your journey.

“The whole experience of volunteering at Shine Night Walk is wonderful. The organisation and control of the event takes a lot of planning. As a regular volunteer, it’s clear to see why and to appreciate being a small part of such a wonderful team. It’s great to look after walkers, enjoy great banter with fellow volunteers and soak up the relaxed and yet professional atmosphere throughout. No matter how hard I try, I’m still emotional myself as I cross the finish line I simply love the fact that everyone is there for the right reasons.” Dave, Shine Night Walk Back Marker volunteer for the last four years
